The Grand Opening event at the River Bend Fine Art Gallery on May 28th was a huge success. Many of the represented gallery artists traveled from long distances to attend the gala. Dave and I (below) always enjoy these events enormously even though the drive was about 4 hours.
Jane has chosen wall colors that enhance the paintings but are subtle and do not overpower. Though the evening was not a first Friday but a special reception, many collectors, patrons, and art lovers were in attendance. We enjoyed lively conversations with Mitch Baird, Betty Billups, and Terry Lee (pictured with me below).
Dave with others guests (below). The gallery is perfectly located in downtown Bend, at 844 NW Bond near the Mockingbird Gallery and only a couple of blocks from the historically famous Pine Tavern Restaurant. With its fine sunny weather great art, Bend is fast becoming the art destination city of central Oregon.
